Taiwan Film and Audiovisual Institute
An institute dedicated to archiving, researching, and restoring Taiwanese film and audiovisual media. Following its relocation to a permanent site in New Taipei City, we rebranded the institute to reflect its evolving identity and growing cultural energy.

Role
Brand Identity, Signage, Print Design

Award
2023 iF DESIGN AWARD — Winner

Inspired by the dynamic lines of the new building, the logo becomes a timeline that connects to the concept of “a montage of time and space.” It shows how film, TV, and radio work as key mediums to capture and preserve time.

Its segmented structure serves as a dual metaphor for the arts of editing and composition, alongside the institute’s core pillars of research, education, and promotion. High-visibility lime green and silver reflect a forward-looking commitment to historical restoration. Extending this visual identity, we developed a custom pictogram set and integrated wayfinding system, seamlessly guiding visitors throughout the venue and its surroundings.
